The Scottish Prince, an iron barque wrecked in 1887, lies in around 10 metres of water off Main Beach and is the Gold Coast's signature dive site.
The wreck has broken down considerably but the hull structure and ribs remain recognisable, and the shallow depth makes for long, relaxed dives.
It is a protected historic shipwreck, so nothing may be removed.
