How to use this website
There are four main ways to explore the site, and which one you want depends on whether the business, the location, the qualification or the capability is what matters to you.
Pages are linked deliberately rather than sitting in isolation, because the useful answer to a diving question is almost always spread across several of them.
- A centre page links to its state, its region, the dive sites it services, its training agencies, the courses it teaches and the services it provides.
- A dive site page links to its region and state, the operators known to service it, the training that is genuinely useful there, and related sites worth reading alongside it.
- A course page links to agency equivalents of the same qualification, the centres that teach it, appropriate next courses, and the destinations where the qualification actually matters.
The intent is a connected information system rather than hundreds of isolated directory listings.
Centre pages list the services we have documented, and each one carries one of two marks.
- A green tick means a current primary source states the capability directly. Those pages also carry a Sources block linking what we checked and when.
- A plain chip means the business offers the service and we have not independently confirmed the detail.
Services we have not established simply do not appear. That absence is never a judgement about the business — it means we have not researched it yet, which is why most centre pages end with Worth confirming when you call: the specific questions that would complete the picture, written as things to ask rather than as gaps.
